Happy Valentine’s day to everyone! If you’ve already found love, I’m happy for you but this message isn’t for you. This is for all my singles in waiting.

I was lamenting over the fact that yet another valentine’s day is here & I have no valentine. God reminded me of the song He gave me years ago letting me know I was complete in Him. I told God that I get the fact that I’m complete in Him but it doesn’t negate the fact that He made us to love and pair up. (Genesis 1:27-28 Gives us this account). He didn’t answer right away but His timing is perfect.

I want to encourage all those that are single and waiting for love. First of all, there’s nothing wrong with you and as a human being, you’re complete in God. He already put in you everything you need to become who you were meant to be in this world. Wait on God’s timing for love. Don’t settle for a counterfeit because of impatience. Don’t compromise your beliefs and morals simply because you’re lonely or you’ve been rejected. God will bring you His best in His time and it will be everything and more than you ever expected. Get out of your own way and ask God for discernment so you recognize the one He has in mind for you and you don’t sabotage His plans. If you’ve been hurt, God has the ability to heal your heart and give you a greater capacity to love.

I know the Bible says “Hope Deferred makes a heart sick” (Proverbs 13:12) and God knows we’re all sick but look at the last part of that scripture; “But a longing fulfilled is a tree of life”…. Continue being faithful to God and who He’s called you to be and He will fulfill the longing in your heart.
