October Health Challenge

October is here and I’m continuing my commitment to being healthy by walking at least 3.25 miles daily, drinking at least eight glasses of water instead of sodas or other sugary drinks including juices, eating foods whole (An example is eating a small baked potato instead of potato chips) and limiting my daily caloric intake to 1500 – 1700 calories( approximately 500 calories each for breakfast, lunch and dinner and two 100 calorie snacks.) I’ve gotten quite creative with my meals and learned a lot about portion control, it’s key in changing bad eating habits and making healthy choices. We barely have three months until the end of the year. Will you join me? Together, we can achieve our goal of getting and staying healthy!
