The power of your confession

Proverbs 18:21 says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”  Mark 11:23 says “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Luke 6:45 says “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” This last scripture confirms Proverbs 23:7 which says “As a man(or woman) thinks in his (her) heart so is he (she)… so  for starters, what is in your heart? Are you full of the word of God and it’s potential to change your life and your circumstance or are you full of negativity. What you put in your heart (meditate on) will always find it’s way into your life because you speak what your heart is full of. As Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue (What you speak) and you’ll eat the fruit of whichever dominates your heart! In Genesis 1, God spoke the entire world and all that’s in it into existence! In Genesis 1:26, God said “Let’s make mankind in our image.” which means we have the same ability to speak things (good or bad) into existence as God did. Mark 11:14 shows us where Jesus cursed the fig tree and it never bore fruit again. What are you speaking over your life? If you’re not happy with what’s happening in your life, go back and look at what you’ve spoken over yourself in the past. If you want things to change, fill yourself with the word of God and change your confession (what you speak).
